I followed every step of "BSNL VMC AN1020-21(Detailed Visual Guide)".
my wireless network page is ditto copy of "BSNL VMC AN1020-21(Detailed Visual Guide)".

Change Channel No to 11 . Also channel selection to Manual.
Click Confirm SAVE reboot.

my laptop says "not connected-connections are available". iam sure that my laptops supports wifi.
"security option-off no encryption" right? i did that.

I'm just wondering, by any chance have the IPs been manually entered in the laptop. Go to network connections, right click your wireless connection, properties, tcp/ip ptoperties, set ip and dns to automatic and try.
 
In computer
START Run type cmd Ok
new window
type ipconfig /all
copy/paste data for lan and wlan only here.
Mention OS used.
