BSNL vs Reliance; mobile vs fixed ??

Hi All, I have had a BSNL fixed broadband for a few years (Dataone HOMEUL750) & have been ok with it. Its claimed speed is 512 KBPS I think. It gives me download speeds of about 30 Kbps. I have been trying a reliance mobile broadband for the last few days (borrowed) and its claimed speed is 3.1 mbps. I checked some similar downloads with reliance & it gives speeds between 25-50 kbps. Its is not significantly faster than the BSNL which I expected it to be. Is there anybody out there who has tried & compared these & what have you found? Is it really worth going in for a reliance mobile broadband (apart from the fact that it is mobile whic is good). I tried these tests on a Sunday evening. regards
