maybe it would not lock?
maybe it would unlock on a power cut?
maybe it would unlock with an app that may already exist online?
 
now that i have thought about it for a while... i am going to avoid any lock that has an internal software. no one is going to update the software on these locks. you would probably never find out how insecure these locks are.
 
Well asked a friend who has electric lock. he tells that he's using the same lock since 6~7 years and its working without a hitch. (But his whole system is crazy expensive)

i beleive that rf or nfc support can be deactivated if you wish , there are 4 modes , passowrd, nfc, and cards etc ,even credit card
 
there are dual mode available which requires both card and passcode to be entered .

i do want something that i can open with my fingerprint or keyword coz my new room upstairs is a totally independent unit and i do not see myself carrying keys everywhere.
