that is what you would have to do. but htc would not cater to you if you do not have the bill for the product. so focus on that.

Ask them to send them a soft copy of the bill via email? Should be possible right?

A bit offtopic - But I do find it interesting to see saholic ad (via Google Ads at IBF & elsewhere) wherein the CEO says to mail him at [email protected] for your problems. Ofcourse, it is unlikely that the "CEO" actually going to go through all requests & solve them, and its going to be an alias for the support team. But, it does give a sense of belief that your "problem" will be looked upon at the highest level.

lol. bill gates and steve jobs both had public email addresses. these mails were probably filtered by a team and the most important messages were probably forwarded to the dudes. jobs is of course well known to respond regularly to mails from Apple product users. i do not remember any instance of anyone getting a response from bill gates though.

right. thats what you need to do. get their customer care to send you a soft copy of the bill so that you can go to the htc service center and get a doa certificate.

if i were to tweet on behalf of you. my tweet would contain the order number as well. i would basically tell them that i did not get bill for my order number xyz and i need it for warranty purposes.

So, how do I get their customer care to send me a soft copy of the bill if they won't respond to me? Via twitter, facebook, email or pick up their phone!?Tweeted:https://twitter.com/IMSahilBhalla/status/219687917965164544

there is a thing called patience. you tweet and you wait. if nothing happens for a couple of hours. you try again. check their twitter account activity. if they are tweeting right now or not. if not, probably no one is monitoring their twitter account right now. apply logic, win.

Okay, so they called me up twice. Once for some details. Which then they sent me an invoice of the bill. They called me up again to assure me that my money is fine and that the phone will be replaced. Should I still visit the service center? Or should I just pursue with another few messages tomorrow for a replacement?

hey dude 1 question. Does a bill with TIN no is enough, no need of seal n signature??????

So? What should I do? I got the soft copy invoice in my email. Should I wait for them to give me a replacement or should I go to the service center and get a DoA thing?

did they say they are going to send a replacement themselves? because in my case, a week has gone by and that required me to get a DOA from HTC service center.

invoices are generated by computers and they rarely contain stamps or signatures. it is usually mentioned in the invoice itself that it is a digital copy which does not require signatures or stamps.
