If its more than -27 dBm, you should be good from an optical signal perspective. Varying throughput could be something else.

Mine is -12db

that's really good ...mine is the lowest (-20dBm) among the 3 neighbours i checked with but the connection is stable (hope i don't jinx it) ...the highest i saw was -17 at my nani's house
