cant open my router and limited speed

hi i have 849 nu connection. i cant log on to my router .192.168.1.1 is not working ( dnt no y) and also my speed doesnt go above 400k...i tried callin 1504 they dont have a clue y my router page is not opening so i hope one of u guys can help ? also i using bridged mode..

in your TCP/IP Settings in Network Connections, put your IP Address/Subnet Mask/Gateway/DNS and then try to access the router home page. It should work...

try 192.168.1.2

When your router is switch on right click on the computer icon in your task & then click on ‘Status’, next click pn the ‘Support’ tab and see what the ‘Default Gateway’ displays. The IP you see there should usually open your router page. Hope this helps

i dnt no wat to do i tried pinging 192.168.1.1-t as well as 1 bt the reply i get is packets lost(100% loss)...i hope someone can help me out ...

1.Give the model details of the modem/router you are using.2. Did you loose internet connection suddenly ?3. Start/Network connections/local area network/properties OR BROADBAND wan/miniport (PPPoE) status repair etc.

usually ID is admin and password utstar or admin or 1234 or password
If somebody had changed it you have to reset the modem ( With power on press the reset switch for about 10 o 20 seconds )

Then try to access In IE 192.168.1.1 admin utstar
for advanced functions/diagnostics page 192.168.1.1/main.html

@essbebeI no the id and the password are admin...i was able to access the router page around two days ago...i tried the reset button bt i doubt whether its working coz i had pressed it for more than 20 sec ... so still stuck
