D-Link). here's ur setup help( this wrked in kolkata-2514 xchnge):
a)192.168.1.1>usr=admin pswd=admin
b) u start at home>select 'WAN' button on da lft.
c)pvc3>virtual circuit enabled>vpi=0>vci=35>wan setting=PPoE/PPoA
usrname=given by ISP>pswd=givn by ISP connection type(or encapsulation)=PPoE LLC MTU=1400>MRU=1492
default route,NAT,firewall=enable all; IP control=dynamic IP service category=UBR
d) now leave WAN,goto DHCP button>select DHCP on
(if u dont want to configure ur lan card/NIC urself) or NO DHCP
(if u want to use the information provided by BSNL...IP add, subnet
mask,default gateway..bla bla bla)
if u wish to use only one comp use the info prvded by ur ISP.
e)now goto
ADSL Button under ADVANCED. select "modulation type"=g.dmt
f) now goto 'SYSTEM' button under 'TOOLS' save the setting on ur hdisk(plz do)
and then select "save and reboot". thats it ur done!!!
