Have you tried vortex.gg? Thegamingproject.co doesn't work for me but vortex works fine. I started with the basic plan on vortex a few days ago. Ping is an issue for me, you may have better luck.

Not so much pricey. Right now there is a 60% discount due to Covid19. It's around ₹ 289.20, otherwise it's ₹ 722.99 for the basic.
 
Guwahati. Pings are bad, the fastest is around 56ms but I was still able to play. I don't have a long enough LAN cable right now to test how it is on wired. You will be fine under 30ms. Also, I recently got FTTH just before the lockdown. Will see what can be done when things get normal.
