those who really want MTNL connection quickly shud apply for DSL-2399 or above, as they dont have to wait in queue:

MTNL Broadband Internet Services Tariff Plans
##'Out of Turn' Provision has been given for DSL-2399 & above Triband Plans.

hardly 10 minutes they wil take in office will ask u to write appn or smthing and give them...that will speed the procedure.

So the MTNL Basta*ds have ports that they give to those who can pay,

while they choose to leave the common man, deserving student community and others deprived of the much needed port so that
PORN,torrents, and other such activities along with regular stuff like email and chatting are beyond their reach

I didnt get ur point... which ports are u talking about?

he means DSL ports.but i dont think MTNL is doing anything wrong. every1 doing business will do so when their connection are in high demand. they dont want to lose a customer who will pay more. Such customers are business customers, who will otherwise move to airtel or some other ISP instead of waiting for 2-3 months.

so maybe you can apply for DSL-2399 plan and after you get the connection, call the cc to change the plan to your desired plan. :Dbut if they dont change the plan, youll have to stick with DSL-2399 and shell out the money too. :P

yes.. may be they will tell u that plan will change only next month. so u can apply around 20th. assume u will get connection in a week. and then apply to change plan on 30th. that way u will have to pay abt 600Rs extra (for abt a week on plan 2399), but u get connection instantly.

well the above scenario is a bit risky as if they claim that the person who does all the changes is on leave and will come back after 5 - 6 days or maybe problem with servers..... then it'll become a costly proposition as the change of plan will be further put back by a month..... with MTNL you never know.... those guys are smart in doing suxh things.....
