what would ppl advocating originality say if i ask them wat to do incase most antivirus companies which receive money by selling their products to customers actually pay a good amount to hackers and virus makers to keep making viruses so that they can keep selling their products in the markets to innocent customers and by doing that they over charge customers to pay their virus makers????:pleasehelp: and yes its true......

i am not going to discuss conspiracy theories here.

just go through this if you have the patience. Powered by Google Docs

Sony is facing a lawsuit for removing linux support from the PS3.

linux support was one of the possible loopholes that could have resulted in development of a crack.

anyways it is good to see that something survived the pirates of this world... it is a pretty big achievement.

and they are going to win it

cause according to their terms and condition they can remove anything on XMB

also the loophole is only fiction

GEOHOTZ produced a memory hack last year but nothing came out till today even with the Other OS being in custom firmwares

chalo yar theek hai tum jeete main haara , ambanis chor nahin hain unhone honest tareeke se itne paise kamaye hain, arushi ko mr rajesh talwar ne nahi mara, ms aur sabhi badi companies are very genuine companies and all the lawsuits against them are just by their competition, its all a big hoax :-)

well there are laws in some nations (and states) that goes beyond any company's own terms and conditions.

Amazon in fact has been refunding a part of the payment made by customers in some states related to PS3 because of reduced functionality. Amazon refunds PS3 owners - Telegraph

and a class action lawsuit that manages to impress a judge would not really care about any terms and conditions.

i follow alot of these suits results in gaming and this one surely won't come out

one has already been taken down

the amazon thing was long time ago now and it was amazon's thing in europe, they have done nothing like this in US,UK.

abroad, few people go for assembled machines unlike india.

and even if they do, piracy is not that common in united states as it is in india.

and they do purchase software at prices that we get to see on online stores like newegg.

people who are too much dependent upon microsoft products go for technet or msdn subscriptions i think.

my web hosting guy for example is a member and they get plenty of free stuff and major discounts.

alot of people buy assembled machines there as there people are more educated to know what equipment they need

and piracy is big in USA,no matter most organisations are after stopping it in USA.msot sites servers and uploaders are present there too

Absolutely wrong , no big torrent / warez site is hosted in USA . If they were , their nuts would be busted before they could say Oh . Most of these sites are hosted offshore / nederlands / hong kong / russia .

And in the US , laws are pretty strict if you are caught :
US woman ordered to pay 1.92 mln dlrs in music piracy case

NO THEY ARE NOT.MOST SERVERS ARE LOCATED IN USA

just because that one person was caught doesn't mean it is not there

in US PIRACY IS LOWER THAN OTHER COUNTIRES but still high
