Now I got my connection 2 weeks ago. Home 500. So does that mean I can DL stuff between 2-8 AM from tomorrow? OR do I have to apply or pay an extra fee?

Dont u understand what does this means....there is no relation of minimum hire period with NU. its just that u have to take this plan for ATLEAST 3 months and 1 month for other plans....

It cant be more clear than this.....

can we have it this way any one here who has been using dataone for less than 3 motnhs and has been billed for 2-8 not by mistake but by some rule

Yo yo yo! What's with all the hostility?I only mentioned it because my friend thought 2-8 was free and started downloading when he got his connection and was billed for it. Also its not like BSNL makes everything crystal clear. I myself already got burnt with my new BSNL connection which I got last week.I had no idea the data is allotted proportionately for the first month and went and downloaded around 900mb and only learnt yesterday that since I had got my connection on the 23rd I was only entitled to approx. 250mb.So to sum up, chill out people!And webDevil whats wrong with my english?
 
which connection id ur friend have ??? and if he did get billed for it why didnt he contact the athau regarding the billing.You atleast should know what the scheme isnow thats ppl with to much money too soon!!!
 
He was on the Home 1000 plan. Finally after 2 months of running around and wasting time he manged to get things sorted out.
