Decent GFX card + Motherboard + Processor

My GFX card crashed and I've been using my laptop since last 6 months. I guess its time to switch back to PC.
I've AMD M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3motherboard and AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black edition processor.

1. Should I change my existing processor and switch to Intel? If yes, how much will I fetch if I sell my mobo + processor?
2. Which GFX card should I go for? Budget 7-9k.
I don't play a lot of games, mainly for PS and other video editing tools.

I'm considering Sapphire ATI HD 7770,
8500 on fk.

I don't think you really don't need a CPU+Motherboard upgrade as your existing one is quite powerful. Can't suggest you GPU as I really don't any idea about the current ones. I personally have a Zotac GTX650 1GB DDR5 which performs quite well. Though I think you can get a better one for the price of this.

ya your processor looks as good as i5 so probably only get the graphic card.

Yes as said above, you have a good setup there. Also 7770 is a good choice
