Responding to non-stop protests in the Capital, the Delhi Police are now set to tame unruly protesters with a high-tech sound device.
A Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD), which emits a piercing sound and was originally used by the navy to disperse pirates, will soon be used to chase away the protesting crowds in the city.
The idea behind using the device, powerful enough to make a person temporarily rattled, is to make them leave the place without the use of violence.

Hmm so this type of testing is what was causing beaching of dolphins, whales & sea life, no one gives a fcuk, and now it's ONLY gonna be used on HUMANS so why should we give a fcuk again, so it's okay right? It is a speaker that can focus and emit sound in a specific direction. It's like a laser but for sound, the hearing impairment is temporary and is optional (LRAD can be simply used to provide warnings at the range of 1-2 km).warthog said:
