end result? i had to disable the apn of airtel and am not using the phone outside my wifi zone.
did you check whether balance was actually deducted? The same thing is happening with me, instead of showing MB's, it shows usage in rupees but the money isn't actually deducted.

for example balance is 345.65, i use the internet, a popup comes saying Last Call Charge 1.20Rs Balance : 345.65

hmm. i have not checked if the balance is actually cut. because it tells me last call charges so and so and remaining balance so and so. i am checking it right now what is the shortcode for checking usage? (in any case, this is unusual behavior because it only started happening yesterday when the account was recharged automatically. before that i used to get a different message with just data consumed update.)

... and i still Remember the outage time every days was from 2-5Pm because at some point power used to go off.

ok looks like you are right. it seems that the balance is not cutting. sometimes the charges are shown as 5 paisa. sometimes 0 paisa. but the balance is remaining the same. annoying and hard to trust their system right now.

You should have checked their Recent profits in Africa.. and the GPRS plan Offered there its mostly 1800 Bucks for 4GB. OMG we're Saved!

Don't know. He didn't have any explanation. Anyways my plan ended yesterday and I switched to a 3g plan. Only 200 mb for 99. But speeds are insane and data balance is properly displayed.

i am tempted too but want to avoid till there is a system that stops them from charging per KB of download once the data allocated is consumed.
