What do you mean by "we". Do you represent yourself or your 'opinion' as a part of a group, or is it really yours.Sheik Yerbouti said:We still haven't accepted a proper definition of god. :/ Proving his non-existence then becomes impossible.1. Your presumption that "someone" created humanity is unjustified.2. How do you "know" he exists?3. Who created god?
Even if you don't believe in GOD doesn't mean some higher power doesn't exist. Our universe is too perfectly made to be just a coincidence. I don't believe in theory of chance when it comes to how everything is so strategically placed and designed around us..our planet, stars, moon, sun..nah no such thing as a coincidence.St0le said:maybe that explanation is good for you! but im not the type of person that gets satisfied so easily!believe in whatever u want, but not because others do!
We represents the people who are involved in debates about god. There is no single definition accepted by believers and non that seems worth pursuing.I never made that statement.Samuel said:What do you mean by "we". Argument from ignorance. The universe isn't fine tuned for life, life is fine tuned to the universe. Remember evolution?Mickey said:Even if you don't believe in GOD doesn't mean some higher power doesn't exist. Our universe is too perfectly made to be just a coincidence. Where is the evidence that no single definition is accepted by believers?Sheik Yerbouti said:We represents the people who are involved in debates about god. There is no single definition accepted by believers and non that seems worth pursuing.I never made that statement.
Evidence? Let's see.... Deism and theism itself prove that there isn't a consensus on the definition of god. Not to mention, people from different religions define god differently based on their beliefs. This should be pretty evident if you have ever talked to people outside your own religion. Hell, even in this very thread, my definition of god varies from Jaymin's Super Programmer definition of god. And I'm sure yours is different from his too.If we don't have a commonly-agreed definition, then everyone just tries to prove or disprove *their* definition, and thus the argument will never end.Samuel said:Where is the evidence that no single definition is accepted by believers? Did you just call me ignorant? Without even bothering to read and comprehend what i am actually saying? where did i say universe is life tuned for life? but i did say that our universe is too perfectly designed and made to be just a chance happening or coincidence.Sheik Yerbouti said:We represents the people who are involved in debates about god. And if the argument is not ending, that means go ahead and reach a judgement that it's not worth pursuing, well.If we don't have a commonly-agreed definition, then everyone just tries to prove or disprove *their* definition, and thus the argument will never end
You wouldn't have made this comment if u realized how big our universe is and how much time it took for life to form and evolve. Everything seems magical/too good if you ignore the time parameter.Mickey said:Even if you don't believe in GOD doesn't mean some higher power doesn't exist.
