Thats bad!! When i earn some "Respectable" amount of my own, i wud think of these entities as Prospective donees. After all they do such nice job, without charging us a penny!!

Yeah, i feel bad about it too, wish i had a respectable surplus which i could afford to send.

Well, to begin with, you can donate any amount at all. Everyone keeps postponing the idea thinking they would like to contribute something 'significant' when they have it, and the result is these guys miss out on money completely. Even if you give $1 (45 bucks), and 1000 other people think so, they have $1000. Pretty significant amount.

You are quite right, but i was thinking how about we Mint users all pool together, contribute say 50/100/whatever rupees each in a local account, and then send it in the name of IBF users, we won't look so cheap individually then (Yes, the thought of appearing cheap absolutely terrifies me, besides opening a Paypal account for a 100 rupee transaction doesn't seem feasible to me, i don't even have one). Maybe admin would be kind enough to help us out in this.

Made a donation of USD 5 to the project. i would try to get it listed as a contribution from the India Broadband Forum with link to this thread.

Sure thanks, where and how do i send the cash? Please bear with me, i live in the stone age where money and banking procedures are concerned, i don't even have a bank account.

If you don't even have a bank account, how the hell are you going to send teh money nigga?

Isn't there something like Electronic transfer, you fill out a slip mentioning the amount and the receivers bank and account number, pay the surcharge..i just gave you more ammo to make fun, didn't i?
