Speed in RADIUS is set at Bangalore NOC.
Line speed viewable in modem is set by local exchange. You don't have much of a case at 7999kbps on an 8 mbps plan.

But When BSNL guys said that they have updated my line speed to 10 Mbps then its drop to 7800, can that possible ?

Also As I read in article, that Airtel did not update profile in start, means profile and port speed both are different ?

Initially they had put mine to 4099.After calling 1957 They have set mine to 8241 .totally happy ..getting 7.07 mbps:inlove:

Say the line rate is set low .they will immediately change it.

You should have a 8 Mbps plan.. I am speaking to those inspired of 8 Mbps are stuck at 4 or 2 mbps
