i like ES 1 only it starts up faster than ES2 and what i want is simple login in as fast as i can adn dont care bout the ram it consumes.

Yes, ES1 starts faster than ES2.But ram consumption should be as minimum as possible by any application.Thats one of the main reasons i use ES1 for. :)Also Bhaskar, You can put an option to disable the splash image.

Hmm, Everyone now wants to remove the splash screen, *sigh*. :( Load times should not be an issue, ES2 Splash screen only stays for about 3 Secs. The splash screen is actually kept there for loading purposes, not to make ES2 look pretty. Some of the slow computers ES2 takes sometime in responding.More of a physcological problem, ES1 on startup doesn't show anything and goes to tray, so no one notices it. ES2 on the other hand shows a splash screen and then goes to tray. No one notices 3 secs of delay , but if there is splash screen then, it seems very long. Now here is the thing, If i were to remove the splash screen, but keep the same load time, then no one would complain, why? because it silently loaded at the back. ES2 is more robust than ES1. Not to mention ES2 is 2.61 compatible. And dont forget the amount of options and customisability provided by ES2.If you guys are so hell bent on getting rid of the splash screen, i will give an option to disable it in the next update.btw, the one you can get ES2 to the same RAM consumption as ES1.

Alright i found a bug in ES2 which requires a new build. I will provide an option to disable the splash screen in the new buil.d

PanduSultan, did you set your SAM options in ES2 properly?Read the FAQ page on the ES website. (Access using help menu in ES2)

A guy called up from Sify and asked me what i was using to dial.I said Easysify 1.SO he said that please use our official dialer because ES was causing some problems. ( he said something about load )Also,ES 1 keeps reverifying the connection ( Keep Alive is on ) , maybe this has to do something with that load.
