(Enabled DMZ) Post Forwarding BSNL FTTH

Hello,

In order to port forward, I have followed the following steps.

1. I'm unable to open certain game launchers, such as COD:MW, Rainbow Six Siege, on my BSNL FTTH so I decided to port forward (enable DMZ host).

2. After accessing router web panel, I enabled the DMZ Host.

3. The DMZ Host IP Address was found using the cmd/ipconfig command.

4. Simply added the ports to be forwarded, as can be seen in the image below.

02.webp

Note: External IP Address is inserted with the Static IP address provided to me by BSNL (therefore hidden for security reasons).

5. Restarted the routher and PC.

6. I visited Port Checker - Port Forwarding Test - Open Port Checker to see if these ports were now open and accessible by my internet connection. However, it did not work. These ports are still closed.

Please tell me what am I doing wrong? Am I missing something? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks & regards,

Mohit Das

Go to nat configuration and change it to type 1, your nat type will be open. Also disable port forwarding and dmz because they are not required

@Nitin I did as you asked now. Deleted port rules, disabled DMZ, made sure Nat TYPE was set to 1 and restarted router again.
I'm afraid it's still not working. I am unable to log in to these game launchers. What else do you propose I do?
