It is high time to realize that our population is our bane, not boon. The majority of the population is so mentally bankrupt that they go out and vote for people like Sonia Gandhi and the gang and bring them to power repeatedly! This population is not capable of differentiating good and bad. They look at false promises and vote of all kinds of lumpen elements.

its democracy buddy which is bane and not boon......look at america , even those ppl voted obama and still not happy. democracy in reality is a myth.of the ppl, for the ppl, by the ppl, is a myth.

Govt is taking a ride on tax payers money...govt should help the poors ....but not by means of providing free mobiles to poors...rather i would appreciate them if they could identify those poor family..and give their chidlren free education in any one of the Kendriya Vidhlaya's school ...which i would appreciate....More over these free mobile things is not 1 time cost...its more increase the expenditure of govt by giving free talk Time....and then the poor families expenses will also increases by means of recharging for their mobiles...

As per media report Budget of this Scam is 7000 Cr. for 60 Lac family. If it's correct then 7000 Cr. / 60 Lac = 11666 Rs Per Family.

Gimme 1crore rupees, then i would never work only and live a luxurious life hehe.:P

without doing any work (assuming only basic investments @ 10% p.a), I doubt you can live a "luxurious" life, even with 1 crore , especially in a city like Mumbai.

My mom has purchased a 75Lakh rupees house in mumbai and we are shifting there in december.:D

^still you are limiting to an 70k/month income (after taxes), which may not be sufficient a few years from now (atleast for a luxurious life)

I need a cash of Rs. 1 crore which is enough for me.I would go to my native place and settled down.I am sure i will get 10% interest on 1 crore which comes to Rs. 10 LPA.In my native to run a family we dont need more than Rs.15,000 for a luxurious life. The rest will be savings to savings....

Thats why I say in a city like mumbai & by luxurious life, I mean high-end cars, fully air-conditioned homes, employees (cook, maid, driver etc), food, expensive furniture .. 70k may not be enough for a "luxury" life in Mumbai pretty soon.

70 k is not enough for a luxurious life even now buddy, the way u have described luxury:laugh:
