I have recently dropped excitel due to city specific issues, but would be willing to try if they launch 1 Gbps at less than 1500 pm (ACT already does it at 2100, but 3.3TB can be blown in less than a day if you really want. Before anyone says you won't even need 3.3TB, I assure you, I also don't need 1Gbps. my normal usage without torrenting comes to 1.2 TB a month, with around 200Mbps plans. I want 6TB+ if I am paying for 1Gbps. I know excitel doesn't have a data cap, but they have a soft cap at 5TB or something).
For me it's not about caps or speeds... I want to feel like I'm paying for the maximum I can get from the infra. G/EPON is best with 1/1 Gig up/down so it's satisfying to know I'm on the max tech. Apart from it it's best for downloading and stuff when you can cut your download times in less than half. It's everyone's togetherness, everyone's development

Excitel posts ₹40 crore profit in FY26, targets growth in subscribers, Wi-Fi 6 gear deals: CEO
Excitel Broadband, a homegrown ISP, has posted a profit of ₹40 crore in FY26 and aims to grow its subscriber base by 20% while introducing new Wi-Fi 6 technology to enhance service quality.
“Going forward, we would be upgrading what we buy. We would be buying more high-end gear, including Wi-Fi 6 and mesh routers mostly from these OEMs only,” he said. “We are looking at Wi-Fi 6 routers in a very big way. In our tests, Wi-Fi 6 routers have seamlessly delivered 1 gig speeds in a typical house environment.”
