You know, just about a year ago we talked about the conspiracy and corruption in BSNL - they had crappy plans and the privates had all the fun. I guess the situation has reversed now :)

Unfortunately I was then with BSNL and now with Airtel!!

Happens to me all the time when I'm driving. The other lane is always moving quicker in a traffic jam. When I switch lanes, the previous lane gets going again and I'm stuck. :)

^ you are absolutely correct. It is just a perception that the other lane is moving better. In the same way, for our ISP we forget the frustrations of past experiences while we experience our present frustrations.

That may be true, but the fact still remains that BSNL had crappy plans earlier and Airtel has them now :p

I faced the same problem, i am having 2 mbps plan and in night i was enjoying 4 mbps. No download limit, however, since 3 months they started this FUP cap and i was forced to change my plan from unlimited to 50 gb plan with 4 mbps. Very sad.....

I wonder what they are doing with the excess unused bandwidth do they have? Distributing it to their top executives to that they can download **** and stuff at 1 Gbps?I remember a while back people in our locality had 256 kbps unlimited connections with torrents mostly blocked and our house had an 8 mbps unlimited and unrestricted line. We..."supervised" the connection and...forgot to add a few connections to the restricted list...Those golden days :(
