I didn't notice it before but it's on every pwa I have installed. I tried pwa via edge browser and it doesn't show the double progress bar. Chrome issue maybe.

Yup happened after an update two days ago. There was another update today which didn't fix this.

Also tried on firefox. It seems pwa is not separate as on chrome. With other browsers it is like a wrapper or shortcut at best. With chrome each pwa is treated as a different app on the phone and can be removed individually by going to app info in settings.

Firefox pwa experience on Android is shit. I used it as primary for a few weeks coz on Chrome attachments were not working here on forum. It reloaded the forum on every cold start. Icon was deformed. It just just poor experience.

Recent Chrome update also messed up how old reddit and similar sites rendered.

Am I shadow banned or something here?

I can't see any posts on my homepage with "unread" tag and I have to manually click at and see all posts. Also using incognito there are many more threads visible to me than logged in.

Is it some sort of bug or something else specific to me? I guess the latter.

Can we revert back?

I don't see anything that would do that except you are on unsupported old theme. Maybe switch to default theme and check.

Set it to default 2024 with dark. I was using AMOLED theme before, still no fix.
