Double progress bar is gone on pwa.

yeah few days ago. but something worse is now happening at least for me lol. i paste a url in address bar and enter to load it, nothing happens. i have to do it again. chrome needs to have a page loaded for this error to happen. cannot replicate it now that i try it but has been happening for the last 2-3 days lol.

Tried more than 10 times. No white screen. Will check the URL paste thing later.

it usually happens on a cold start. as in, it is running in background because you used it for a while. and then after a while, you load it and it opens a blank page lol.

url thing goes something like this. i see a news article on x/discover. i open it. i decide to post it on forum. so i copy the url from the address bar and type the forum link where i want to post it. press enter. chrome tries to open the forum link for a second but stays on the current page. lol. not happening right now so maybe it was temporary.

Will let pwa run in the background then. I normally close it. Could be a memory issue. I accidentally forgot to close it a day or two ago and it opened just fine.

i cannot replicate it now as well lol. but it has been reported by multiple folks on the chrome bug tracker so something is definitely going on. was also posted on xenforo community.

So the frequent re-login issue seems to be no longer happening -> Feedback - Updates (2024)

Nothing changed (that I know of) on my side - just posting status update here.

also noticing the same page load bug if I open a link externally like from email alerts for forum threads. Have to click twice. So annoying.

Got the white (black) screen. But happens only once on the email links. Went back and clicked a few more links from email and it opens on the first try.
