Ya go for Static IP your pings will be lower and routing will be good and try to get own choice of IP range, Rs. 2000/- per year good price for static IP

It depends actually.....Highly subjective. For me it is not worth, thats why i am not spending. If i were to spend 2k extra, then why wudnt i buy additional bandwidth??

Well, this is my thinking......

A post above u Flame finds it convenient - he must be having his reasons. that shows its subjective!! :)

@jymn2005 ya i prefer static IP :) it keep you logged in 24X7 no Auto LogOut no irritating Reliance HomePage and Rs. 2000/- per year for static IP not a bad idea :)

Exactly.....:)But yaar what i think is - if i pay 2k extra, i should better pay it, to "Double" my current speed - which i think costs another 100-150 pm. I dont find it that annoying to shell out 2000 bucks pa extra!!

@jymn2005 @flame what are your plans as per Welcome to Reliance Communications ?

@flame can you get static IP's with any plan? I am planning to get Night Booster Zoom 1 plan.

From this discussion it seems that no matter wired or wirefree (wimax) the subscriber will get a receiver on top of his building. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

U've got it all wrong.....the postpaid plans & combo plans are wired....

@humrahiv2....My plan is 300 kbps Unlimited plan.....Rs.450pm flat.

vikky....I think u r mistaking the meaning of "Combo" here. Combo doesnt mean Day & Night plans.....it is inclusive of Landline, thats y the name "Combo".
