Fix Your IPv6 Connectivity – Ask Airtel for a Static /56 Prefix!

I sent the mail, and got a call from their customer care asking me if i wanted to activate static IP, i told them about ipv6, bro sent an engineer to my home. And engineer is checking if the fiber is down then did a speedtest🫠.He said everything is Ok, Ask for a OTP and gone. well that's all

their process flow net not working ok, fix problem net working now, spedtest running fine take otp close complaint don't expect beyond that my experience

i faced a net lagging issue when browsing it took one month escalated to back end they even updated modem from NOC still nothing worked engineer came and said that lag is not there in their system and everything fine, net was fine a month back though same hardware at my end gave up and simply gave otp and closed it.

Going through an extremely similar situation with ACT Fibernet. I am currently at the Nodal Officer level, but the email gets transformed into a ticket which loses all details entirely and becomes an "Internet not working" issue by the time it gets to the "backend" "technical" team. After some explanation and confusion, their reply is that a retail connection is not eligible for absolutely anything other than a /64.

I'm trying to get them to at least clearly state that they're not going to give a larger prefix and hopefully why. Its super frustrating.

Indian Telco Provider thinks it's unnecessary or pointless. Do they even keep them up to date with APNIC? Local ISP doesn't even give IPV6, but uses NATed IPV4. How is that even Feasible? They do have a supported system cuz most of them use Mikrotik hardware. But they still can't work it into it.

Top national ISPs like JIO and Bharati Airtel don't even acknowledge /48 if you are a retail Customer. According to them, if you are able to watch a YouTube video and get your said bandwidth from speedtest.com (that too from their servers in the locality) your Internet is Top-Notch.
If you want something more that they will push you to buy a Leash line for lakhs.

correct they dont value normal customers much technically as long as they get their money and net is stable and working fine, the high paying corporate lines count when it comes to performance and standards this is the sad but hard truth, suggest dont waste your precious time these ISP folks dont care as long as normal retail customers are paying monthly and net is working fine, technical details are a no no for normal customers, you want features you have to pay more get business accounts or leased lines  seems like their attitude. they would mostly know all the tech else they cant run a ISP, for a normal joe, as long their net is fast and stable enough they dont want to do more:oops::oops:

anyway if you want to try all the best in your efforts don't want to discourage you or be negative :)
