IF this is passed than i would have to stop posting then.

I was shouting about all these stuff since 2008 and you all laughed.

 i loved it

yes they are trying to make india like china with the exception of one party rule and curbing the freedom of the people :| and also crossing the corruption scale :/

@warthog: take a chill pill man :D I like conspiracy theories too but here is my cool philosphy in life:There is this saying "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers." (stupid people meaning the Indian Govt.) and for that there is a counter quip:"Never underestimate the power of smart people in small numbers." !!! (smart people meaning , the Indian public)

perfect citizen i would say. thinks that the government is working for their goodwill.

If they go through with this then we have only ourselves to blame. We stood idly by while our freedon and liberties were taken away, but were too involved personal matters to notice. Its the same situation with scams and rampant bribery. We are the ones responsible since we created a tolerant environment towards these transgressions. And we turned a blind eye rather than raisinga hue and cry. Only now do we see how exacerbated the problem has become. Only now have we realised that the congress and BJP are 2 peas in a pod, besting each other in how much money they can steal from us during their 5 year terms, while the regional parties suck on the power teet, hoping a few scraps and morsels fall their way so they too can walk on this path of dishonesty towards and contempt for the common man. "But why should I be bothered? Its not like its affecting me directly." Maybe it is and you just havent figured it out.

To be frank i learned nothing in this thread. Just that something bad might happen. No info on the mechanism or tracking of this issue is apparent.Until it becomes more clear why bother with something that might happen.

I guess it is a good idea to dig the well before you are thirsty.

Yes, but how likely are these things to happen ?

Where the heck is the critical analysis. What is the procedure to be followed here. Does it get debated at all in parliament ro do we wake up in fine day and find the sun rises in the west.

The articles mentioned give no understanding about this whatsoever. It just says something might happen, which to be frank is crap reporting, otherwise its just gossip.

This is not some weather report we are talking about here.

I apologize for reviving this old thread, but I find it not so amusing listening to the people who are more concerned about the privacy rather than national security.

This thread reminds me of a lady, a social activist I met a few years back. She believed that it's important to educate prisoners who are serving sentences for for crimes like murder and rape so that they can have a better life after serving their time. But somehow, she found my suggestion not so interesting and my suggestion was that instead of educating the scum of the society try educating the kids who lost their parents while fighting terrorism. She was worried about the rehabilitation of rapists but men who are amputated while fighting for their nation and her own selfless ass is of no concern to her.

So, from what I have learned so far is that few individuals would prefer to keep privacy while some don't even know if they will live to see the next day. Kudos to you, as your privacy is worth some lives. Its really doesn't matter that some women and children end up being blown to bits and pieces as long as government don't about the stuff I talk to my girlfriend.

As for the gentleman who suggested that India should strike terror camps, again and again till they perish, seriously don't know a thing about military affairs. We are talking about striking a country with the sixth largest army in world and of course a few nuclear bombs, enough to destroy every city with the population of over a million.
