frequent disconnection -dataone

I am having frequent disconnection and breaking voice chats for the past many days.It was working fine before with the same setup and wiring. BSNL ppl confirmed that there is no interference in the telephone line.( I use a Quidway modem n Windows XP sp2)ADSL and LAN keep blinking at the same time when I use the internet.It is stable when just connected and not put to use. I hear a mild noise in between for a few seconds and no voice when on Voice chat.It recovers then in less than a minute and it repeats. I also get disconnected all of a sudden without any indication( all links do remain lit even when I m disconnected.) I repair the connection and it shows limited or no connectivity. I need to switch off and On the modem to get connected again. wat cud be the problem? This troubles me a lot. :wall: Any guidance?

show how you have connected the computer.TelephoneJunction Box ====>>>RJ11==>> splitter === Phone Rj11===>>>to all phones...........................................ADSl port =====>>>RJ11===>>> to Modem==Rj45==>to computer. Check SNR and Attn data in modem and report. What is the modem model ?

Quidway WA-1003A ADSL MODEM MENU
Check dsl or adsl status in Advanced menu.
( try 192.168.1.1/main.html)

The problem is the Network freezes inbetween and I could see just bytes getting transmitted and not received.At that time I hear this noise and it goes off in seconds.Its frustrating when on voice as it freezes frequently. My DSL speed as shown in the modem portal is 256/2048kbps. Modem Connection Status :Us Rate (Kbps)256 Ds Rate (Kbps)2048 US Margin 24 DS Margin 31 DS Line Attenuation 29US Line Attenuation 11

This is my modem status.. on WA-1003A modem. I am also affected with frequent d/cs and delay in loading webpages. But, downloads via flashget and torrent is showing full speed @ around 30kBps in my 256kbps connection.

the modulation method which can be the case.use g.dmt or adsl2+
as per the screenshot,it seems to look like my utstarcom router.
u have to goto advanced setup in modem webconfig page.select g.dmt untick other options.save/reboot and try.
