@rohit267 copy IPv6 gateway address from windows or mac and paste to the browser like this https://[your IPv6 gateway ip], and login using Admin and password Jiocentrum. In mac you can get the IPv6 addres under the network>TCP/IP you can follow this link
And most important you need plug the ethernet cable from the poe adapter which goes into router.
For windows you can How to Find Your Default Gateway IP Address
In my case safari works but chrome not worked.

They have a certificate issue similar to IDU with the login to ODU, so try to use the advanced option to proceed understanding the risk.

@Surajgowda Try to use ipv6 address starting with fe80 in the LAN IPV6 of IDU, I vaguely remember that its the same address as directly connecting to ODU, just connect ODU RJ45 to the port1 of IDU and it would be accessible over WLAN. I can confirm the ipv6 address over this weekend.

@shreyanshk yeah you will not see the ODU in trace due to the tunnelling.

@priya123 You have a very low rsrp. I have observed a good stable performance only with RSRP close to and higher than -60dBm. You would see the signal status as excellent that time.

@rohit267 I tried to change the SSID for 5GHz but it assigns the SSID to wifi6, a single SSID, same as you see. But one thing is if change the dns in IDU, Their backend couldnt connect and check any parameters, looks like their applications dont connect. You get an encryted dump of settings from the IDU and its a openwrt firmware (shows up as arcadian router in wireshark), I tried a little to decrypt it, wasnt succesful, but I guess it would have more settings visible.

@k14prasad definitely would try this, please let me know about the ipv6 address, also do you think we can explore any method where we can access ODU whilst being connected to internet/ without disturbing active internet connection?

@rohit267 plugin ODU to Lap / PC, you will get the IPv6 address. I just asked to chat GPT about what the router IP is using that IP (3 IPs were there and one was correct).
<your ipv6 here> this is the ipv6 allocated to my pc what would be the router ip ?

I typed it like this on Chrome https://[2409:40f3:aa:aa55::1]/#/login . Replace this 2409:40f3:aa:aa55::1 with your router IPv6 (fake address btw )

Login with Admin/Jiocentrum

@itsmesid I know how things work, I just can't plug the ODU to to laptop as it's wall mounted at home height. I was thinking if it's possible through wifi but don't know which one is ODU

The ODUs with new firmware seem to be locked now
Connecting it to laptop (the Data port from the PoE unit) results in the following:

  • PC fist detects a link (but no DHCP server) so it adds a self assigned ipv4/ no ipv6 to the connection
  • a minute or so later, the physical link also drops which seems to indicate that the ODU is running some kind of check on the connected equipment

If only they had spent 10% of the effort they spent on locking mechanisms on the actual service itself :ROFLMAO:
Coz I have never seen such tight locking protocols coupled with such a shitty service ever

PS: My Airfiber has been down , like completely down for the last 12 days with no resolution
