I have got my dataone connection juz 10 days back and since thn, its been a nightmare.
I am in thr 500 plan and have been provided with UTstarcom WA3002-G4 modem(type IV).
I get disconnected more than 30 times in day(dunno about night... but if i check my sessions in usage details, thr r about 25 sessions every night 2-8am). The frequency increases in the mornings and nights.Infact got disconnected 6 times while making this thread.
I have got all types of errors, most frequent been "Link to DataOne Failed"
and sumtimes i get my ADSL line blinking.Also get the errors related to User id and password.
Made 3 complains
Reaction on the first complaint: Aguy from BSNL calls up and tries to convince me that thr is a loose connection at my end and made me do sum silly things like disconnecting my phone.... problem not solved. in the evening a lady calls up to take status of the complaint, which was not yet resolved. Next day i found that the complaint was closed.
On 2nd complaint.: A linesman comes over and tells me he rectified the problem with the line. After checking i found that i was able to connect without any problem.Juz about 30 mins after he left, started having major problem with User id and password errors.called up the cust care. he said that the servers were down. caled up a frnd having a dataone conn and residing about 6kms from my home and he said he is not having any problem and that his connection never disconnects.
Still awaiting response from the third complaint.
