Hi there I've been using FTTH BSNL there was once a MTU issue that happened to me, after looking at BSNL FTTH DNS PROBLEM | BSNL Bharat Fiber it was fixed finally, thanks to y'all actually the issue here is I am using Google DNS response time >24 ms but the famous game PUBG Mobile seems to have some issue running using the FTTH ASAP I switch to mobile data its fine, but I kind of need it on the WiFi because the ping on wifi is 20 ms, I've checked sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't at end I'm thinking that it might be a DNS issue, because every other service works fine Netflix, Prime Video everything ping to speedtest servers are even fine, this one thing that messes it up. I want to know if this has been happening to you or you have a fix for this.
Regards

Can you reconstruct your question ? You want to use the Wifi because its 20ms right ? 20 ms is a good ping for India . Are you expecting a lesser ping or is it something else ??
What exactly is issue in Wifi so the forum can help you

DNS has nothing to do with your PUBG Game as both are very different concepts and both are not interconnected
The work of DNS is to resolve/route your domain name(Example- www.facebook.com) to your IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx which is Facebook server.
Your PUBG Game directly connects to the server IP without the need of DNS.

No @shashankb its just that the connection to the game happens randomly, shouldn't it be like whenever I want? I've to use 1.1.1.1 app to make the game run which adds a VPN layer so my ping also spikes the issue is that the game won't open whenever its supposed to it says
"Unable to connect to the server" most of the time and sometimes after one game it suddenly stops asap I launch the vpn app (1.1.1.1) it works again.

@1inductance
I went through the thread .My Network also has a similar issue.
Btw I did not know it was a IP series issue
My sibling plays PUBG and sometimes does complain about the PUBG not connecting

\
But as a result we cannot do anything unless you are ready to pay for a paid VPN which is very good with speed and low latency.
Now BSNL doesnt give a damn about our PUBG not working as it least bothered.
That is why American streamers play so well. The Internet is at 99% uptime
\
If DNS really is a bottleneck you can try that out also..

You are using a VPN to change your DNS . This will obviously slow your game and everything internet.

Change DNS without a VPN

The cloudflare connects through a VPN currently for you ....You can change the DNS settings from your Mobile Network settings which directly changes DNS without a VPN
Assuming you game using BSNL Wifi
  1. Go to your Wifi settings
  2. Click on the network you are connected
  3. You will see a menu at the top right and a option called Advanced
  4. Changing IP from DHCP to Static
  5. You will get a menu asking DNS
  6. Enter 1.1.1.1 in Primary DNS and Secondary DNS and enter your existing IP in the IP field and router Gateway in the Gateway

Well I'm gonna try this and will post a reply in 5-6 hours.

Doesn't works @shashankb but everything I restart the router it works for like a particular time then stops again. 😔 BSNL being alone ISP in my area, I couldn't switch it but there's no fix for this issue since forever 🥺.
