Well i've just booked a 590NU plan for myself.I'm a bit worried about the download speed which i might be getting....specially while download torrents.....Any help?

U may have booked 590NU before 20June,coz after that it has stopped accepting new registrations

Also the only tip I can offer u is sit tight,pray u get the new connection fast and once u have it the Line charecs like SNR margin and Attenuation are good so u get Rocking speeds.

Mr skorpio u live in Bombay, 590 NU is still open to registrations in Delhi. Do not generalize.

@skorpioHe lives in New Delhi, and since there's no 849 NU plan here, they still accept 590 NU reg applications.And, BTW, stop quoting the post just above urs

How much time does it takes for them to give me my connection. I booked mine of saturday, and havnt heard from till now.Also, i live near Malviya Nagar, so where will my MTNL Exchange be?Coz, what i've heard is that, the closer you are to your exhance, the better the speeds.

Visit ur telephone exchange to know the status. In my case my router was installed after 2 days but it took them 20 days after that coz there were no DSLAMs available and they were installing new ones
