Getting Low speeds

Hi guys
the problem i m facing here is that i m on home 500 plan during night time i.e. from 2 am to exactly 7:55 am i get low download speeds.

i am posting my speed results here


During night time :

Not satisfactory.But your torrent downloads were OK
Download speed can vary depending on various factors.
Check in your modem ( give model details )ADSL status
Select GDMT and recheck speed.
can also try OpenDNS
Usually speed at this time will exceed 1000kbps D/L
wait . I will connect Dataone and test

Update : 1200PM Dataone upto 2 Mbps Home 250 Open DNS Xp Pro sp2

brisbane 13th july D/L 948 kb/sec U/l 112 kb/sec

mumbai D/L 1700 U/L 334 kb/sec

My Modem was in Adsl mode

I set my modem to G DMT mode as u said

members/asvinder/ you can try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net.Test speeds for two days, as D/L speed can vary depending on various factors.For example there was some improvement when GDMT was selected.

Btw you get good speed on link-removed. And about the speed i think a lot of ppl download at that time of night so speed goes down.
