select incognito chat.

incognito is allo's version of secret chat which is end to end encrypted with zero support for google assistant. completely private.

One of the main features of our new messaging app Allo is a preview edition of the Google Assistant, a new way to have a conversation with Google. I uninstalled it. No one in my contact list uses Allo

keeping it for the assistant. it is easier to use than google now.

google is expected to launch it outside allo. maybe replace google now. allo would become pointless for me at that time.

I didn't like the Assistant much. It won't even recognize " Allo " in voice command. When I type, it mostly throws a Google search result for everything. I can do that myself without using Allo.

well yeah. it depends upon the need. i like it to set my alarms. much smoother experience compared to google now with voice.

Is Siri the same ? Or, better ?

have never used siri. it is probably more mature and has better connectivity with apps on ios devices now that platform is open. google now/assistant has very little connectivity with third party apps but since it has access to your gmail (assuming you use it) and other google properties, it is likely to have better personalized results.

hmm. I tried to use ( talk to ) Google Now. My experience was not good.

But Google Now works better with my voice commands. Reads me fine.
