Strange. I thought it got Bluetooth Smart certification few months ago.

With the new .84 radio, the data session on 2G doesn't seem to disconnect while on a call. Obviously, net doesn't work, but that little E is present constantly, with the phone trying to send data out. Found it a bit strange.Also, speed on EDGE seems to have improved, and a lot at that.

What is this .84 radio please clarify

It's the new baseband for Nexus 4.

In other words its an updated firmware for the phones radio which optimises the calls data WiFi(doubt) etc.

Reading reports on XDA that the OTA update.zip when manually flashed on Indian Nexus 4 with build version JDQ39E fails. Anyone having Indian Nexus 4 with this build, don't bother flashing the update.zip manually. Just putting it here.
