I was talking more on the lines of what XDA did for their site. Android has almost become associated with 'workarounds', so paying is really upto whether the individual wants to.As for Tapatalk, there are official beta builds available online which one can use.
XDA is selling their app right? I do not plan to do that I just want the ability to gift the Tapatalk app to folks here who are looking for it and are not willing to pay for it (or are not able to pay for it).
actually i have managed to get it installed on my phone it has not worked for me as well. just tried it. installed fine. i enabled one-click purchase. but installation of any app does not work as it stops at the payment processing step.
