I now need to see how I can install this... I thought I could just copy the file to the phone. Reboot into that bootloader thing and run it. But AndroidPolice guide talks about using Android SDK tools. :\

To overcome the error, I have to flash each file individually instead of flash all batch file. That's it. Everything's up and running fine now!

Yes, you need Android SDK and device with unlocked bootloader to install system image. I have these two things in place from the day 1 of buying nexus. I don't like custom ROMs etc but I could enhance Stock android and other properties like sound output etc by unlocking bootloader and rooting. I would suggest to go with it. Warranty issues too won't arise now, if 1 year is already passed or about to.

Seems like N4 owners will have to wait for some more time for Lollipop. No factory images yet :-(
