Are the camera improvements noteworthy? How is the face detection? Waiting for ota update..have not rooted or unlocked bootloader of my phone

So. How do I access this screen?

It only appears when Android can't detect source of consumption meaning there's leakage. It was known issues in Dev preview of Lollipop and apparently, it was the reason behind delay of official rollout.

When I was running dev preview, phone showed consistent 20% miscellaneous uses and battery backup was considerably low. Now, all is fine and I don't see miscellaneous use.

Overall, system is much smoother than dev preview and finally feels like solid consumer release.

HDR+ appears to be faster. Have not tried face unlock. Not interested in it much. I wish Nexus 5 had double tap to wake. But sadly hardware issues does not allow it.

I have tried double tap to wake and many related implementations like swipe to wake up using custom kernels. It works perfectly fine except slight battery drain. But its observed on every device having this feature enabled.

From what I remember reading, Nexus 5 has the display and the touchscreen panel fused. So they cannot keep just the touchscreen panel on 24x7 for this feature to work. Hence it does not work well on Nexus 5. Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and some other devices have this feature enabled.

Face unlock is hidden now. Happens in background and works flawlessly in sufficient lighting conditions. Else, you have to enter PIN/Password. Trusted devices can be exempted from whole process.
