I have registered for tomorrow's Redmi flash sale, I am thinking if the stock of these devices would last till that gets over, as I am thinking to maybe go for one of these, should I fail to get one at the flash sale.

Well, thats for sure, but I am only looking at alternatives. The way Xiaomi is working, they are showing intentions of doing flash sales till people get bored of them, which might be a year or more for all I know. And I need to get him a phone in a couple of weeks, hence need to keep options open.

Ofcourse, I have Moto E & Zenphone as fallbacks. But, camera is one major thing which will be a problem... another relative has a HTC Wildfire, the old one, and he wants a camera which is atleast little bit better than that... On specs that one has 5 MP, do not sure if other devices which are 5 MP would be as good and manageable.

Camera is crap on moto e. Don't go for it if camera is big deal.
