To get most of the functionality, you need root afaik. There's an app called 'AOSP Browser Installer' which I had used to install it on 4.3 and 4.2.--You can try this one, which doesn't need root.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.android.browser
I have rooted my device and bootloader is unlocked so will try first option first. Yet to make good use of rooting so let's start!
Tried UC browser on WP. Too many options but no real improvement in core functionality over other browsers. I prefer keeping it simple.
Try reading some user reviews after sorting it with your device type, and go ahead if no one reported any serious issues. Apps that write to /system partition are riskier and there are chances of bootloops.
Reviews are mixed. Tried it. It automatically signed in to google services but does it really synching bookmarks and stuff with google account? Because I can't seem to find option to manage these settings.
Chrome update on android stopped supporting flash player , now i use dolphin on mobile .
However on desktop and laptop , chrome and firefox are best . I prefer chrome though .
