google play price has not changed since launch from what i understand. you cannot really take into consideration the price of the imported units.

India. In the US its selling for 229$, just checked, the India launch price for the Nexus 7 2102 was 15999. So I guess they are going to launch the 2013 version at the same price.

Why have they listed the first two models in $ and the third in INR?

Probably going to launch just one model through Google Play like they did with 2012 edition. Only Wi-Fi editions are sold through Google Play.
