Finally, I have been waiting for NFC payments app which accepts all cards irrespective of banks for all android phones. Hope they launch this in india now.

They are losing to Samsung Pay. It is a matter of time Apple launches Apple Pay.

Also Amex card users can use Amex Pay via the Amex India App for Contactless NFC payments. Have anyone tried ICICI Pockets app for NFC payments? They claim to support NFC payments on POS terminals, not sure whether we can just pay via their Wallet or we can add our Credit/Debit cards similar to Google/Samsung/Apple Pay.

Cards can be added in the pockets app. But i guess only those with an ICICI account can register on the app, correct me if i am wrong.

Ya. Looks like ICICI Card is needed. Only option for now is to get Samsung Phone with Samsung Pay. Amex users can use Amex Pay.

sadly even samsung is not including mst on all their devices. i think even the just launched overpriced Samsung Galaxy A8 Star only has nfc support on Samsung Pay. so much idiocy.

Ya. Even in the new Galaxy Watch they have removed MST and kept only NFC. Last year few Samsung devices around 20K had MST, looks like from now on, MST is only for Flagships.
