@Samuel Maybe they want all youtubers to test the device properly before giving reviews, when iPhone 13 embargo was lifted few youtubers on day 1 started giving full reviews even without spending significant time with the devices.

Another reason can be double publicity for the device in the form of two embargo's

If Google really wants to create hype, they should launch a new series, Pixel Luxe and target celebrities and a different segment.

Pixel would never be a big deal or be able to compete with giants.
