Umm. There is a backup from now on option, afaik. That's what I'd checked when switching from drop box to g+.

Damn. Earlier if you signed out and signed in (to g+, from the app), it gave you an option to upload from now on only.

Tried replicating that, seems like the new Google plus has done away with that option. And now its uploading all my photos, Whatsapp included, even though I've unchecked the local folders option :/

EDIT

Restarting the app multiple times seems to have fixed the local folders thingy. But I believe the option to backup from now onwards has been done away with.

I don't see the point of uploading all old photos to g+. Not to mention the waste of bandwidth

It started uploading everything for me, cause I turned it on. Had no option, Dropbox is full and I have 25 gigs free on Drive.
I'll have to sit in office and delete all useless pics.... And keep an eye out for further uploads of local pics.

OKay so can anyone tell me how i can view the photos that are backed up online via the Photos app? It shows the local and online pics together, and i can't figure out which is which.
