google +1 is just a component of the google+ platform. you would be able to +1 comments and posts in google plus stream. just like you can like shit on facebook.

google streams make google buzz and orkut scrapbook irrelevant.People need to realize something. Google+ is not a direct competitor of Facebook. It is a social layer that is being integrated with all Google services. If you use any Google service, you would end up using Plus in one for or the other. It does not have to beat Facebook. Eventually everyone of your friends would be using Plus in a similar manner and at that time, you would have to decide... Continue Facebook which is an external service with its own series of headaches... Or just start using Google+ because it offers most features along with integration with services that you have been using for years.
