it's good actually, coz keeping on GPS consumes a lot of battery

I am not sure that's accurate anymore Android is pretty smart with GPS. I think it only consumes around a percentage or two max per hour
Consumption magnifies if you are using an app that constantly updates your location like Google Maps Navigation or Google My Tracks. That is a battery killer.
