As if 3G was very easily affordable now , this move could make 3G reach ability even more hard. So i will be stuck with gprs for a long long time , i guess.

dunno. 150 rupees for 500MB 3G and 500MB Edge works great for me. of course it is not something that i would use as my primary source of internet but on the move, it works just great.

Same here bought an airtel number for this plan onlyIt meets my requirements without hurting the pocket especially when 1 GB 2g plans are close to 130 from all the operators

Well, they have shut it down in Chhattisgarh I guess. I'm not receiving 3G Signals from past midnight. Got it confirmed from a few freinds.

I don't know what exactly is going on between Airtel and DoT at this moment but 3G services are halted by Airtel in Pune (MH & Goa circle) from 1st April. Phone is unable to latch to Idea and Vodafone 3G networks. If try to do manually, it throws error "No access to network". issed-off:
For my primary connection, I do not want to move to other operators. But 3G is or at least 500 kbps reliable data connection is must for me on a phone which 2G can not provide. Damn, data suspends when in call or texting and even randomly on 2G (technical limitation). I have realized in last 3 days that how much is 3G important and left with no option but to switch to other operator. Will wait for few weeks, hoping for positive outcome in favour of ICR agreements and consumers (do they really care about it or its just all about money? :moneymouth: ).

Same here... Not able to access Idea and Vodafone3G network in Pune.

Docomo provides some awesome 3G data plans.. and 3G network is far better than Vodafone, idea and BSNL. (Even better than docomo 2g network)
Using 250 unlimited with FTT plan from last 4 months... getting minimum 7.2 mbps speed.

Wait Reliance What? Great. So every other operator can start this practice of kicking others out, effectively killing competition and leaving customers with no choices.
