How much should i pay for a 500GB SATA hard disk preferably Seagate or Samsung...:yahoo:

I think it should be around 5500-6000Rs.

Depends on whether you are getting it from a normal market, your local computer walla who comes to your house, or from a wholesale market like Nehru Place (Delhi) and Lamington Road (Bombay). Not sure whether such places are there in Kerala, but you would be best advised to go to such a place.

Here a 500GB Seagate is available for Rs. 5,700. You can check this site. You can perhaps ask them to courier it to you.
