For connecttion to be stable transmit power level should be around 35-47 somewhat , mine is welll above 60 .
I call up the hathway technical support , they have no f*king clue about it .I tell em I get download sppeds like 10 kbps ( 256kbps plan ) , get heavy lag during playing online games , etc .
Guess whats their answer :
1) There must some virus on your pc
2) your Os must not be updated
3) There must be problem with your pc .
When I told that stupid hathway guy , my pc is virus free , my os is updated and there is no problem with my PC . He says he will check with some technical person !
I had 2 ISPs before mtnl and pacenet , they were not best but they were somewhat decent .
I need internet for mainly 2 things Downloading and online gaming , and hathway is not good for either !
Now I m screwed cuz hathway wont fix this problem ( they didnt do anything abt this since i took this isp abt 1 year ago) and the only other isp there in my area is mtnl ( which doesnt have any good unlimited schemes) .
Hathway is cheap , but you want any performance and stability dont ever go for hathway ! ( if u do they will rip u apart ).
