Sony SIX (SD) , Sony HD (SET HD) has started testing from Intelsat 17 at 66.0° East on TP - 3840 H 30000 DVB-S2 TP.
1) SIX SD () 3845,H,30000 95% Astra Satellite Network 19,2°E
2) SET HD () 3845,H,30000 95% Astra Satellite Network 19,2°E
i had also mentioned about the approval from mib to broadcast this channel here is the link

Whats the maximum no. of channels on Hathway Cable? Whats the subscription cost?I don't like having a set top box, it will be somewhat vague. So I'm now using DishTV and want to go with Hathway(Analog) Cable. Any suggestions??

Digital is the Way forward and as per I & B Min rules from 1 july in the major cities all cable operators have to compulsorily shift to Digital signals Via STB.
So unless, If you want to use Analogue signal through the Local antenna on the terrace like we all use to use 20 yrs back, You have No other Option

IPL in HD ?

Yeah... even i heard this today on a news channel. But, i knew that they are all changing over to digital before. But, it might take some more years to terminate the analog cable completely.
So unless, If you want to use Analogue signal through the Local antenna on the terrace like we all use to use 20 yrs back, You have No other Option
Hmmm... I just saw an analog cable in my friends home. They are here providing 82 channels. I could see it with disturbances, waves/ lines on picture. The quality was bad compared to DTH. OMG! i somewhat felt not to change. BTW 82 channels is no way comparable to DTH. What do you think max. nos of channels on analog(practically).

Starting with the Opening ceremony on 3rd April, Max HD which will be telecating the event will be available on Hathway HD. The service will be available on 368.

This channel has received MIB permission and is in test mode currently. Date of launch is not yet confirmed. But MAX HD is being launched 3rd April with the commencement of DLF IPL Season 5. It will be available on 368 in the Hathway HD line up. Sony Hd stats testing on air.any updates to adding this channel??
